About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Flex Airport Warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. The position provides a designated site and reliable weekly anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Employees may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform and can build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $21.89 per hour. The listed anchor schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• X-ray screening experience.
• A guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering the facility using established procedures and approved screening equipment.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in points when access cannot be confirmed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter, documenting relevant security-related observations and activities.
