About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver in Louisville, Kentucky. The officer will support a technology, media, and telecommunications location by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding professionally to changing conditions, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role involves a Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight schedule, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures at utility and communications infrastructure locations.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site policies.
Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry assigned equipment in accordance with company, client, and applicable legal requirements.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
