About The Position

As a Security Officer focused on access portal administration at a food and beverage distribution location in Lewisville, Texas, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor access activity, respond to security-related concerns, provide professional customer service, and use computer or tablet systems. The role is full-time and pays $17.51 per hour. The stated schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
