About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Observation in Johnstown, Ohio. The role provides a reliable assigned-site shift with the opportunity to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The fixed weekly shift requires a six-month commitment, and extra shifts can be picked up across multiple sites. Hours may vary from week to week, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed schedule is Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

The Security Officer supports clients by following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
