Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access procedures, badge verification, and security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and documenting security-related observations according to site procedures.
