About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Sugar Grove, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or vendor activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-related areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by reporting unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues that could impact daily operations.
