As a Security Officer Main Entrance in Asbury Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor visitor entry and departure, verify identification as directed, and maintain front desk access records in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters when needed.
  • Answer phones, greet residents and guests, and communicate important information to staff, vendors, and/or first responders as appropriate.
  • Observe activity in the lobby and reception area and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns to help support orderly daily operations.
