About The Position
United Security is seeking motivated individuals interested in developing a long-term career in security. The part-time Security Officer/Concierge role involves protecting client properties and following site-specific post orders. Strong performance may lead to more consistent scheduling, increased hours, and pay advancement. The company promotes from within and supports employees seeking to grow. Overtime and holiday hours are paid at a time-and-a-half rate. Suitable candidates will be invited to the company office for in-person interviews.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Security Officer Certification.
- Experience as a concierge or in hospitality.
- Ability to stand and walk for eight hours.
- Flexible availability.
Nice To Haves
- Prior law enforcement experience.
- Military service.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the assigned area for suspicious activity and unauthorized people.
- Perform security checks and follow the establishment’s post orders.
- Investigate incidents and create reports documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Perform other responsibilities as applicable.
