Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in Roseville, California, you will safeguard clients by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, and helping deter security-related incidents. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.40 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents, delivery-related disruptions, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, employee parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify authorization according to site procedures, and document relevant activity.
- Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, access issues, and unusual conditions in accordance with company and site procedures.
