About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for a designated site in Kapolei, Hawaii. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position is at a chemical and petrochemical refining location and involves unarmed security patrol and site support. The stated pay rate is $24.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and apply problem-solving skills to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
