About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for patrol duties at an assigned healthcare location in Corvallis, Oregon. The role offers a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Hours may vary with extra shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. The role is unarmed and does not require driving. The stated schedule is Friday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, solve problems, and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
