About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned retail site in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position pays $17.00 per hour and has a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The listed schedule is Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In addition to the fixed shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as availability allows. The role may suit candidates seeking supplemental income, hands-on experience, or a path toward full-time security work.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site security procedures, patrols the retail location, monitors for unusual activity and hazards, responds to incidents, and maintains records and communications. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss prevention concerns, and facility-related hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
