About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting in Indianapolis, Indiana. The officer will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role supports a welcoming environment through clear communication, routine rounds, and timely reporting. The listed pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Saturday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and professionally while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, patient and staff escorts, and access-control procedures as assigned.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
