About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a retail location in Oxford, Ohio. The officer will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff. The role involves visible security presence, patrols, customer service, incident response, observation and reporting, access control, and assistance with crowd management. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $16.72 per hour, paid weekly. No prior experience is required. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and may be subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations.
Complete accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or emergency responders.
Assist with access control, visitor directions, and crowd management during peak shopping periods, special events, and emergencies.
