About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control and badge processes, and providing customer service. The role uses computer or tablet systems to document activity and requires professional communication, integrity, and a reliable, caring approach. The position pays $18.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete activity reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Support access control and badge processes.
