About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer for a healthcare location in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access and visitor activity, and supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

The role involves providing customer service and communicating effectively with facility occupants and team members. The officer will follow site-specific security procedures, respond professionally to incidents and emergencies, and document and report relevant observations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
