About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a transportation location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and clear communication while addressing routine concerns. Officers respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to established protocols, and document unusual conditions and incidents in accordance with site procedures. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $18.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, passengers, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following transportation location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access to designated areas and observe and report unusual conditions or activities.
Document incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
