Security Officer for Mobile Patrol Overnights

About The Position

ACT Security Group is hiring a full-time Security Officer for overnight mobile patrol work. The role requires availability from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and typically involves 36–42 hours per week. The officer reports to the company’s office in the Jersey Village area to pick up a company vehicle, then patrols premises in a marked vehicle to deter theft, violence, and rule violations. Pay is $17–$18 per hour. Mobile patrol experience is a plus.

Requirements

Valid Texas guard card.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises in a marked vehicle to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they function properly and are secure.
Warn and report people who violate rules and regulations.
Report facility issues, such as fire hazards and leaking water.
Request emergency personnel as needed.
