About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Chantilly, Virginia. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service to patients, visitors, clients, and staff. The officer uses technology to document observations and support daily operations, and responds to incidents and emergencies according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including laboratory areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Remain alert to unusual activity, hazards, and facility concerns, and escalate matters according to established procedures.
