About The Position

As a Security Officer Entrance Preparedness in Spartanburg, South Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security operations through customer service. The role includes responding to incidents and critical situations calmly and carrying out site-specific procedures and policies. Conditions at this site include limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
