About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Salisbury, North Carolina. The role provides security presence and customer service while safeguarding clients, shoppers, and store associates. The officer conducts armed patrols, monitors controlled areas, responds to security concerns, and documents observations and incidents. The position pays $19.10 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, delivery areas, and restricted locations, and verify authorization for entry to employee-only or controlled areas.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related activities and complete required reports according to site procedures.
