About The Position

Armorous is seeking a professional, alert, and customer service-oriented Security Officer for a Fairfield, California homeowners association (HOA) assignment. This high-visibility access control position helps maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents. The officer conducts vehicle patrols, completes hourly activity logs, enforces HOA policies, and helps maintain the overall security of the property. The role staffs the guard shack at the front entrance and monitors vehicle and pedestrian access.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and observant in a high-profile environment.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous HOA security experience.
• Experience working access control or gate security assignments.
• Strong report-writing and radio communication skills.
• Overnight or graveyard-shift experience.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor vehicle and pedestrian access entering the property.
