About The Position

Armorous is seeking a professional, alert, customer service-oriented Security Officer for a Fairfield homeowners association assignment. The role helps maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents. This high-visibility access control position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment when interacting with the public. Officers conduct vehicle patrols, complete hourly activity logs, enforce HOA policies, and help secure the property.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities. The officer staffs the guard shack at the front entrance and monitors vehicle and pedestrian access.

Requirements

• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and observant in a high-profile environment.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous HOA security experience.
• Experience working access control or gate security assignments.
• Strong report-writing and radio communication skills.
• Overnight or grave-shift experience.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor vehicle and pedestrian access entering the property.
• Staff the guard shack at the front entrance.
• Maintain detailed awareness of activity entering and exiting the site.
• Provide customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Remain alert, professional, and attentive throughout the shift.
• Conduct vehicle patrols.
