As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Issuance in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and help deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while representing Allied Universal’s caring, innovative culture.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit points at a technology-focused construction location; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Observe access-control systems, alarms, and communications equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, work areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
