This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering or exiting the chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor access points, visitor management systems, alarms, and other security-related equipment; document activity and report irregularities according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, perimeter areas, and surrounding business locations to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
