About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol building monitor at an Amazon warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will provide security and customer service at a technology-focused location, maintain a visible presence, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond professionally to security concerns. The role is scheduled Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $18.36 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Complete detailed activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication and a customer-focused presence.
