About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling various locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives at client sites for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role includes interacting frequently with client employees and guests, providing customer service, conducting property tours, and using technology devices throughout the shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Driver Certification.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow all post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
