About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Compliance in Orlando, Florida. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The role requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly anchor shift. Employees may pick up extra shifts and can build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The position pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The officer provides customer service and performs security procedures, patrols, monitoring, incident response, and documentation at the assigned facility.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle, delivery, and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
