About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Temporary Part-Time Security Officer for an information desk at a healthcare location in Branchburg, New Jersey. The role provides a welcoming, professional front-desk presence while safeguarding clients and supporting an orderly environment. The officer greets visitors, manages access, monitors activity, assists with security-related inquiries, and uses computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A Guard Card/License.

Responsibilities

Provide professional front-desk presence and customer service to visitors, employees, patients, and vendors at a healthcare location.
Follow site-specific security procedures, including visitor registration, credential verification, access control, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly and courteously to incidents, assistance requests, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor front-desk activity, report unusual activity or unauthorized access concerns, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership to support a welcoming and orderly environment.
