Temporary Security Officer
About The Position
Securitas USA is hiring a temporary, peak-season Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites. The role involves actively monitoring and patrolling premises, preserving order, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. Officers observe and report activities and incidents to help protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary. Training is provided, and candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position requires a valid driver’s license, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Candidates must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards. The job includes frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for extended periods, as well as possible stair climbing and walking on inclines or uneven terrain. Physical demands may also include frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.

- Must be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, and may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines or uneven terrain.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

- Prior security experience is not necessary; training is provided.
