About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. The role observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site and preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Security Officers may also provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. This is a temporary peak-season position paying $22.25 per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Must be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a good fit; no experience is necessary.
