About The Position

EKG Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to provide security services for a gated residential community in Fayetteville, GA. This unarmed position is responsible for monitoring community access, conducting security patrols, assisting residents and visitors, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Reliable transportation required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to operate basic computer systems, email, and mobile applications.
Ability to pass any state-required licensing and training requirements.
Must complete site-specific training before working independently.
Must have a mobile phone and active email address.
Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license preferred.
Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the community entrance and exit points.
Verify resident and visitor access as required.
Conduct regular patrols of the property by foot or vehicle.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, accidents, or incidents.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Maintain awareness of community rules, post orders, and site procedures.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify law enforcement, fire personnel, or management when necessary.
Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents, guests, and vendors.
Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions that may impact security or safety.
Complete required post-order training and site familiarization.
