About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role varies by day and special event and may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The officer must adapt to changing assignments while protecting people and property. The position is full-time, Saturday through Tuesday, on the third shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and pays $18.50 per hour. DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have an active DCJS license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• A state license, if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
