About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Durham, North Carolina. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Available schedules include Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (40 hours); Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (32 hours); or Wednesday through Sunday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (40 hours). The hourly wage is $18.10, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
