About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Fernley, Nevada. This customer-service-focused role involves working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The officer observes and surveys the assigned area, reports activity, responds rapidly to critical situations, enforces customer procedures and standards, and maintains access control and order in the lobby. The officer may also patrol the building on foot. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $19.50, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Have a high school diploma or GED in hand.
Have a valid PILB in hand.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have superior people skills.
Be comfortable using computers, laptops, CCTV, and other electronic tools.
Have at least one year of security experience.
Have a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Law enforcement or military experience.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service.
Observe and survey the assigned area and report activity.
Respond rapidly in critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards when appropriate.
Check credentials of employees, vendors, customers, and other visitors to provide access control and maintain order in the lobby.
Keep the assigned area clear of foot traffic and help prevent other hazards.
Patrol the interior of the building on foot when asked.
