About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Observation in Phoenix, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail distribution location. You will monitor and patrol the site while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to concerns, communicating professionally with team members and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the business perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as required, and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activities according to site-specific procedures.
