About The Position

As a full-time, unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location in New York, NY, you will help safeguard tenants, visitors, contractors, and property. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.06 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information to site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity to help maintain adherence to site entry procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions according to company and site-specific reporting requirements.
