About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a commissioned, full-time Armed Security Officer for a lobby patrol and surveillance role in Houston, Texas. The officer monitors security systems and patrols the premises to identify and respond to suspicious activity, incidents, or potential threats; controls access to secure areas; and helps protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (until close), and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The hourly wage is $18.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and employees may access DailyPay. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hold a Level 3 Armed Security License.
• Provide personal equipment: a weapon, duty belt, two pairs of handcuffs, and two non-lethal items.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Have computer and social skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Be willing and able to work odd hours and under pressure.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Have a state license if required.
