About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer for a mobile patrol driving post supporting a government location in Auburndale, Florida. The role safeguards facility personnel and visitors through armed vehicle patrols, access control, incident response, and customer service. The schedule lists Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to government facility personnel and visitors while carrying out armed security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following post orders and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security observations.
