As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Compliance in Watertown, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This armed post requires a concealed carry weapons permit. Requirements

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a government transportation location while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous roadway conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
