About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for overnight corporate patrol at a commercial real estate location in New York, NY. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. The role involves responding professionally to security concerns and incidents, following site-specific procedures and policies, and completing required reports and shift communications.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.06 per hour. Applicants must have a valid New York State Security Guard License and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, tenant inquiries, and policy compliance.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
