About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Tempe, Arizona. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at $20.00 per hour.

Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and report access concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
