About The Position
Securitas USA is hiring entry-level Security Officers for full-time and part-time positions. Officers help safeguard clients’ people and assets by providing security services and supporting a safe environment. The role calls for alert observation, sound judgment, adherence to protocols, effective communication, and customer service. All shifts are available, and employees must work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour. A hiring event is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, 270 Lilly Chapel Road, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Requirements
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Hold a Driver Certification.
- Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Be over the age of 18.
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Be available for weekend shifts.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, observation, ability to follow instructions, customer service, and communication skills.
