About The Position

As a Security Officer at a residential location in Daly City, California, you will help safeguard clients and support residents, visitors, and property staff. The role involves routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

This is a full-time position paying $23.30 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and property policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to residential property incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
