About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location in Williamsburg, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role also involves providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.72 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. A background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen are conditions of employment. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders when needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
- Maintain a professional presence in food production, distribution, or service areas.
