About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time, unarmed Security Officer in Hamilton, Ohio. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, communicating professionally with visitors and team members, and providing customer service. The role supports a welcoming environment and responds to site needs and incidents. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:45 AM–5:30 PM. Part-time employees may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate professionally with visitors and team members and support a welcoming environment.
