About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a temporary Security Officer in Minooka, Illinois, to cover an FMLA absence. The position may lead to flex and/or full-time placement. The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public, using professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The scheduled days off are Friday and Saturday. The shifts are Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Full-time benefits listed are dental, vision, and medical insurance. Required screenings include a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have basic to intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all pre-employment requirements.
