About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Monroe, Louisiana. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned retail site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The fixed weekly assignment requires a six-month commitment. Employees may increase or scale back their hours, with opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week.

The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $12.98 per hour, with weekly pay. The role involves customer service, patrols of the retail location, monitoring and reporting activity, responding to incidents, and documenting shift activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy concerns, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities according to site-specific procedures.
