About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Arlington, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a secure environment. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and provide customer service. The role is full time and pays $25.12 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, an active Department of Defense Secret clearance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A guard card or license and CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet and be at least 18 for unarmed roles. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug-screen requirements. Licensing requirements vary by state or locality; a valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility areas, manufacturing or technology workspaces, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
