About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling various locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area.

The role involves conflict resolution and de-escalation, interacting frequently with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, completing assigned rounds and property tours, and following post orders. The officer also provides customer service and information, uses technology devices throughout the shift, and performs other similar duties as required at the assigned site.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises, control access, and patrol assigned locations.

• Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
• Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
